Scholastic Magazine is Notre Dame's only student news magazine. It is an award winning, bi-weekly publication that has been in circulation since 1867, run entirely by students.

I began designing covers at Scholastic the first semester of my junior year. I designed six covers touching on a range of topics. While I was abroad second semester, I was asked to take over the position of executive design editor of the magazine. I accepted the offer and took on a whole new set of responsibilities, including art direction, managment of a team of 5 designers and the pre-press responsibilites.

I continued to produce covers and have focused on these for my portfolio although working on Scholastic taught me an infintie amount about working with an entire staff before, during and after production. I am responsible for the conceptul work, design and production and some photography for all of these covers that are shown here in my portfolio.
